Diigo so far has been a great tool and resource to use to share links and web resources. Diigo has been also a great tool to use when to look up other resources. With Diigo you can look for references using several different tags, separating them using quotations. Once you have found a resource that has been started that is relevant to you, you can see what others have posted or commented that stood out about the site. All of these points that I have covered is the reason that Diigo would be and effective and efficient for team members, classmates in a group. Diigo allows for users to create groups. In these groups, resources are only shared amongst group members.

Powerpoint is a very useful tool and can be used to support learning at each level of Bloom's Taxonomy. To implement the first level, remembering, I would show my 2nd grade math class, a link to a video that would help them remember their multiplication facts. For the second level, understand, I would upload an image of a multiplication chart so they understand the different factors. To interpret the apply and evaluate levels of Bloom's Taxonomy I would post multiplication fact questions on the powerpoint and also multiplication questions using real life scenarios. For the analyze level I would show step by step, how to complete different levels of multiplication questions.

Technology has advanced education for students without a doubt. However, technology has also advanced a window for educators to also learn. With different resources such as blogs, discussion forums, youtube, and even twitter, educators are able to use the web to teach themselves new skills to perfect their craft. There are also many online resources that allows educators to search for different courses as well in order to obtain professional and human development, one of them is EducatorEd. EducatorEd is an online site that provides educators with different courses based on area of concentration. EducatorEd has multiple resources for teachers such as online books, incorporates a real life coach, videos from the author, and even workshops where you can see someone teaching.

ILP "Participation - Teacher Interview"

For this  voice thread , I decided to not go on lnyda.com or MOOC because instead of testing something out for myself, I wanted to see what the professionals were actually doing. For such reason, I decided to interview a 1st grade teacher on her use of technology in the classroom. I interviewed a first grade teacher because I currently work close with that grade level and may be interested in teaching elementary one day. I was surprised by many of my discoveries of the educational technology being used in elementary school, and how it is fairly similar to some of the technology used in college.
